Also Known as Himalayan Rock Salt, this salt is hand-mined and harvested from ancient salt beds, deep under the Himalayan Mountains. Rich in over 80 minerals and trace elements, some of the most notable being calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron, this salt is considered to be the purest form of salt available.

For therapeutic purposes, the Himalayan can be used in baths to relax the body, stimulate circulation, sooth sore muscles, and remove toxins. It is reputed to assist with relief from arthritis, skin rashes, wounds, and flu and fever symptoms.

Therapeutic Bath Recipe: Dissolve 2 cups of salt in bath. Soak for no more than 20 minutes as this mixture will refresh and rejuvenate the body.

Facial Steam Recipe: For treating respiratory ailments, asthma or bronchitis, boil 2 cups water, add salt to water, cover your head with a towel to create a “tent”, and inhale the vapors for 10-15 minutes.

Lemongrass Floral Water (Hydroflorate or Hydrosol) are extremely versatile. They can be added to your creams and lotions at 30% - 50% in the water phase, or in an aromatic face or body spritz. They are an excellent addition to linen sprays and a simple way for the novice aromatherapist to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. They may also be added to make a fragrant and soothing hot bath.

Floral waters, also known as hydroflorates and hydrosols, are similar to essential oils but much more mild. During the steam distillation process of essential oils the water that is used to steam the raw material is drawn off and collected. This water and contains the therapeutic benefits and lovely scent of the original material and this is what our floral waters are comprised of.

Lemongrass water is lovely to incorporate in lip balms, lotions, creams, cosmetic formulations, soaps, and personal care formulations.

Floral Waters can be added to the manufacturing process in place of normal water, used as a deodorant, facial spritzer, for direct application to the skin, as a cooling agent, in saunas, in hair care applications, as a fragrance or for massage.
